Now that we have decided on a road trip to Goa, we are debating over which route to take...
1) NH4 (Mumbai Pune Highway)
2) NH 17 (Mumnbai Goa Highway Via Ratnagiri, Ganpatipule)
NH4 promises to be safer and faster but a little less scenic considering the straight cemented roads.. NH17 offers amazing curvaceous roads, scenic views but takes longer owing to lots of trucks and other heavy vehicles...
so which one ...Hmmmmm....

Now that curves are back bigtime, what will be better than dusty curvy roads meandering through sleepy hamlets. Though your pace might be punctuated by heavy duty trucks etc, you will still get to absorb a lot. Bon voyage Garry...looking forward to a nice documentation of your journey.
