At the India Gate in New Delhi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India_Gate ), the Amar Jawan Jyoti stands in honour of the soldiers of India and here on the streets the common man is paying his respects...

i loved the simplicity of this mural... just 2 colors, 2 shapes and 2 words... poignant and beautiful !

in Mumbai lingo, Bevda means a "drunk man" and so Bevdi or Bev D means a drunk woman...

starting today, i shall share some images of the wall murals or graffiti art work from the tulsi pipe road of mumbai, where lots of people gathered and painted interesting slogans, messages and images to cover the entire stretch of the road from mahim to lower parel... the event happened in oct 2009....
