Children are always just amazingly beautiful and interesting subjects to shoot. Over the years Ive clicked a few childrens images that make me think and smile everytime I look at them... I would like to share those today...
Love to hear what you guys have to say about the images...
This is Nisha and her younger sister Pooja. Nisha is a street child who survives on the change she collects at Sakinaka signal in Andheri. This was clicked by a cameraphone.
This young girl and her brother live in a small village in Latur and lost their mother to weakness during child birth. I met them when I visited the villages to work on a documentary.
This young boy is a child artist in Rajasthan and he sings alongwith playing a Ravanhatta in Jodhpur.
Another young artist, from Pushkar, Rajasthan, he is the Bahurupiya, who dresses up as Gods and Goddesses and asks for alms. Today he and his friends are dressed as Shiva, Parvati and their son Ganesha. They refused to pose for me till I gave them some money :)
And this young man is sells beads and bags in Jaipur and own this lovely yellow shop that I fell in love with.
And last but not the least, a fave shot of young boy called Mamtu, who is a tribal from the Thar desert of Rajasthan and lives in Pushkar.
