Said the little boy, “Sometimes I drop my spoon.”
Said the old man, “I do that too.”
The little boy whispered, “I wet my pants.”
“I do that too,” laughed the old man.”
Said the little boy, “I often cry.”
The old man nodded, “So do I.”
“But worst of all,” said the boy,
“it seemsGrown-ups don’t pay attention to me.”
And he felt the warmth of a wrinkled old hand.
“I know what you mean,” said the old man.

this elderly gentleman was sweeping the floor in the Brahma Temple in Pushkar, Rajasthan... apparently he could not get up or walk, and was just moving on the ground ... it was sad to see him struggle but heart warming to know he still worked for his living !

The Boy from Pulpos
Recently, I was looking for some interesting documentaries to watch online and I happened to find numerous on www.myspace.com in the Film section... Among a few that I instantly lapped up was this trailer of a film, called The Boy From Pulpos.
This is the story of a six year old boy, Carlitos, who suffers from rare condition... his struggle and the daily struggles of his doting mother who is singleminded focused on continuously improving her childs life.. The documentary is still a work-in-progress, as is Carlitos life... he needs attention and help...
Heres how you can help Carlitos:
1. Asking about the documentary
2. Giving feedback
3. A doctor offering help
4. Magazine and/or News Paper writing a story about this project.
5. A newscast making a report
6. Spreading the word
The Producer/Director of the film is Diego, and you can get in touch with him at any of the urls mentioned on the image...
Help brighten up Carlitos day in whatever way you can...

back to reality !
finally back in mumbai after a life changing , exhilarating trip to rajasthan... though i totally resisted getting back to reality, eventually my heart gave in to my brains reasoning...and so here i am!
its amazing how much i metamorphose everytime i travel to a new place... its almost like discovering a new layer of me and a new level of being ! in a new far away distant place , surrounded by fresh new faces, new sounds, smells and sights where the boredom of daily banalities and chaos of maintaining a routine cannot get in the way of my freespirited heart, thats where i belong....
